KOLZER manufactures and supplies vacuum treatment plants.
Kolzer was founded in 1950 and was one of the pioneers in early vacuum technology.
Following on half century of experience, today Kolzer is a market leader in the high-vacuum treatment field with over 900 units currently operating worldwide.
KOLZER produces a complete range of machinery, offering different types of processes: METALLIZATION, SPUTTERING, PLASMA AND PE-CVD.

The KOLZER plants use Vacuum treatment chambers (in conditions of low atmospheric pressure) and process generators:
  • Sources of condensable molecular or atomic Vapors to deposit thin films and coatings (for
    surface finishings).
  • Plasma sources (for surface modifications and reactions)
The vacuum condition is used not only to reduce the density of the gas particles but also to
carry out the processes in uncontaminated environments. By establishing a controlled pressure,
and if necessary emitting gas fluxes, the gas environment created can be in the form of a Plasma (partly ionized gas). The source of vapor can be in the form of a solid surface (physical vapor deposition - PVD), or liquid (chemical vapor deposition - CVD).
